The hiking possibilities in Corrèze are virtually endless. From simple strolls to multi-day treks on the long-distance trails, numerous options await you. The department boasts 200 short hiking trails, 526 km of GR (long-distance hiking trails), and 481 km of GRP (long-distance hiking trails), all maintained and marked. For unique discoveries along the various routes, explore on foot the Millevaches Plateau, the Causse Corrézien, the Dordogne Valley, the Tulle region, or the Brive region.

- BIKE RIDES AND ALL-TERRAIN HIKES!

When it comes to cycling, there will be something for everyone!

For walks around the village, "Les Jardins Saint Eloi" provides its guests with a free fleet of traditional and/or electric bicycles.

For those who want to go on an adventure through the Limousin Mountains and the Millevaches Plateau, you will find all the equipment to rent in Uzerche at "Roue Léo Vert".

- SWIMMING IN A NATURAL LAKE: TERIGNAC AND LAKE BARIOUSSES

The Lac des Bariousses in Treignac is the ideal destination for a relaxing or sporty day out, with family or friends.

On site you will find a beach with supervised swimming, picnic tables, children's games, a volleyball court, a bowling green, a snack bar/restaurant.

With the Vézère-Monédières Outdoor Sports Center, rent your canoe, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, pedal boat, or electric fishing boat. You can also try out all kinds of outdoor sports.

As a guarantee of good environmental quality, the Blue Flag is raised on the beach of the Bariousses lake.

Fly over the Monédières Massif and the Dordogne Valley in a glider

Nine sites in Corrèze offer glider flights, notably over the Monédières massif and the Dordogne Valley. Near the Jardins Saint Eloi, head to Chaumeil or Treignac to experience this aerial adventure. Whether you choose a discovery day, an introductory flight, a first flight, or advanced training, take to the skies and admire the region's treasures from above.

Discover the Corrèze region on horseback

Corrèze boasts numerous facilities for horseback riding and trekking. Many routes are available for riders, ranging from 21 to 173 km, allowing you to set off on horseback for a few hours to several days. These equestrian trails wind through the villages and exceptional sites of the department, offering a unique way to discover the surrounding area.

Explore the Corrèze region by canoe or kayak

The diversity and beauty of the canoe and kayak routes on the rivers of Corrèze have earned it a worldwide reputation. The World Championships have been held in Treignac twice, on the Vézère River and the highly technical Rocher des Folles course. But more peaceful stretches downstream will take you as far as Uzerche or the Château du Saillant in the commune of Voutezac, near Brive-la-Gaillarde. Not forgetting the waters of the Corrèze, the Dordogne and the Diège which will satisfy your desires for a peaceful stroll or a more sporty adventure, even in the hottest summer days.

Admire the landscapes to the rhythm of the wind

Several quality golf clubs, suitable for different skill levels, welcome you:

-The Coiroux Golf Club, located in the town of Aubazine, on the shores of Lake Coiroux, with its lovely 18-hole natural course and a quality pitch and putt course,

- The Brive Planchetorte Golf Club, located in the protected area of the narrow Planchetorte valley, offers an 18-hole course requiring skill and precision.

- The Golf de la Porcelaine, located in the town of Panazol, just outside Limoges, will delight the finest golfers with its long and hilly 18-hole course in a magnificently wooded setting.
